What paint correction actually fixes

Paint correction is a multi-stage machine polishing process that levels out that damage: swirls, light scratches, water spots, oxidation, and the hazy look that makes even a well-kept car look tired.
This isn’t a wax job. Wax sits on top and hides problems for a few weeks. Correction removes a thin layer of clear coat to physically level the paint, so the fix holds.
The process
1. Wash and decontamination.
Every panel gets a proper wash, clay bar treatment, and iron decon before any machine touches the paint. Correcting over dirt just adds new scratches.
2. Paint inspection.
We check clear coat thickness and map out trouble spots under proper lighting, so we know how much correction the paint can safely take.
3. Machine polishing.
One to three stages depending on how much damage is there, working from cutting compound down to a finishing polish.
4. Protection.
